This site is about Addiscombe and some of the immediately surrounding areas. A few more distant places may also creep in here and there where I consider they are quick and easy to get to and so likely to be frequented by residents of Addiscombe. The site was supported by a Fotopic gallery which was handling all the photographic content and augmenting the on-site content with additional photos and text, which means that when Fotopic went down permanently in early 2011 the site was pretty well stuffed. Having given up hope of getting Fotopic back I've brought local copies of the thumbnails online so it doesn't look quite so silly but that still leaves an issue of doing something with the full size photos. I've got them all, but not in nice groupings as I had them on Fotopic.

The site is very much in its early stages of development at the moment as you can no doubt tell from the lack of content and rather basic index, and as I wrote that four years ago it probably means I found other things to do or ran out of ideas.
